TaxTrapCalc.co.uk is an open, client-side financial computation suite. We believe personal financial data should remain strictly confidential and entirely under the user's control.

1. Zero Server-Side Data Retention

All income numbers, bonus calculations, pension contributions, and family dependency details are evaluated locally in your browser memory. No form entry is ever transmitted to a server, written to an external database, or logged in persistent telemetry.

2. Local Browser Storage

We do not set tracking cookies. Light/Dark theme preferences are stored solely in your browser's local storage (localStorage.getItem('theme')) and never communicated off-device.

3. Third-Party Scripting & Telemetry

The mathematical calculation engine executes using local pure TypeScript compiled to client-side JavaScript. No third-party financial aggregators, lead-generation brokers, or credit bureaus have access to your calculator entries.

4. Privacy-Preserving Analytics

We use cookieless, privacy-preserving Cloudflare Web Analytics to monitor site performance, page speed, and aggregate traffic. This service operates without client-side tracking cookies, does not collect personal identifiers, and does not track individual users across the web.
